Ben Pu enjoys classical music and regularly attends concerts at the New England Conservatory of Music. He particularly enjoys compositions by Rachmaninoff, Beethoven, Liszt, and Chopin. Aside from his love of music, Ben Pu enjoys building computers and servers. He regularly builds PCs and also reviews hardware and server components.

As an accomplished programmer and computer scientist, Mr. Pu has experience producing and monitoring complex programs in a high-performance, high-pressure setting. He is an alumnus of Cornell University where he studied computer science. While earning his BS, he served as a teaching assistant for networks and systems courses teaching second- and third-year undergraduate students.

In his spare time, Ben Pu engages with his community by supporting a number of nonprofits focused on computer literacy and human rights. He is a longtime supporter of both the Electronic Frontier Foundation and the global movement Hour of Code. He also contributes to the Linux Foundation and the Center for Democracy and Technology.
